The Juice with Jeff #192

On this episode of the podcast, Katy Beh Neas conducts and co-produces a fantastic interview with me thru Zoom. This is Katy's first time on the podcast and a very special shout-out and thanks goes out to Dana Leman for recruiting Katy to join The Juice with Jeff family of interviewers and co-producers.

 

During the podcast, Katy and I have a two way conversation where we discuss the following topics: Katy's journey in life and how a significant part of her journey was working for Former Iowa Senator Tom Harkin, things we love about Harkin, Disability Justice, the importance of accepting everyone as they are for who they are, the importance of Autism Acceptance and about my being autistic, these podcasts and the history on how The Juice with Jeff got started, our thoughts on COVID continuing to rage on at widespread levels, what I do for self care during the winter months where it's usually too cold to do the outdoor get togethers, my talking about city and state parks and how nature walk tours were part of several episodes of this podcast, how Des Moines has changed and various things related to Des Moines, and we wrap it up with Katy sharing another thing or two about herself.
