On this episode of the podcast, Stephanie Reed conducts and co-produces a fantastic, superb, and outstanding interview with me in person. This is Stephanie's first time on the podcast and we recorded this one at Greenwood Park in Des Moines.
After our intros and talking about how the last time we saw each other was 7 years ago, Stephanie recalls with me how I taught her quite a bit about Judaism that night we had dinner at Bonefish Grill in January 2017, and then I talk about how Judaism is very strongly against proselytizing outside of the Jewish community (and that I simply believe in educating people on various Jewish things if they ask or when certain things come up), the bare basics of about how a non-Jew who chooses to convert to Judaism goes about starting the process according to traditional Jewish Law, and what is traditionally called the 7 Laws of Noah.
After that, Stephanie and I have a deep and meaningful conversation on a bunch of topics that in a way blend in with each other (i.e. as we get pretty deep into taking about one subject, we then talk discussing another topic). Some of the topics we discussed are: The Israeli-Palestinean Conflict and how things have gotten much more heated with this starting in October of last year, Media Bias and my talking about how I rely on the Ad Fontes Media and Media Bias Fact Check websites to advise one on which media sources are less biased and more factual than others, our VHS days, my "level" of being autistic and the things that make me unique in terms of the autism, how Stephanie and I both feel about society/technology today and how we both actually prefer quite a few things that are "Old School", the types of music I enjoy, and about these podcasts. There is quite a lot of two way conversation during the podcast.
