On this episode of the podcast, Stephanie Angleson French conducts and co-produces a fantastic, superb, and extremely fun interview with me in person. This is Stephanie's fourth time on the podcast and we recorded this one outdoors at Campbell Recreational Area in the Clive area.
Before Stephanie introduces herself, welcomes our listeners to this episode of the podcast, and we go on with the topics/questions; we do something a little different right after I start the digital audio recorder/mic: Stephanie and I do the "It's 106 miles to Chicago....Hit it!!" line from The Blues Brothers with me doing Elwood and Stephanie doing Jake's "Hit it". Then Stephanie and I do our intros and I talk about the special plans for this year's episodes of the podcast including our goal of having at least 50 new episodes produced and recorded during the course of this year.
Most of the time is devoted to Stephanie asking me to talk about my HUGE TV Show and Movie DVD Collection, Roadshow Theatrical Presentations, and other things related to my favorite films. There are moments where Stephanie shares her thoughts on the movies I talk about, one of her favorite actresses, and other things about the movies she likes.
And then before we wrap up the show, Stephanie asks me to perform a few of my voice impersonations: Huckleberry Hound, Quickdraw McGraw, Yogi Bear, Boo-Boo, Lady Elaine Fairchilde, Danier Tiger, King Friday, the Mighty Favog from the short lived "The Land of Gorch" during the first season of Saturday Night Live, and my Jim Morrison impersonation (where I do a Doors take on the late 1800's/early 1900's song "Hello Ma Baby".
The entire interview overall is conversational and really entertaining. This episode of the podcast was recorded on Friday April 5th, 2024 and it runs 1 hour and 1 minute long.
