On this episode of the podcast, Stephanie Toms conducts and co-produces a fantastic, superb, super fun, and really unique interview with me and Nathan Retzlaff in person. This is Stephanie's third time (second time in person) on the podcast and we recorded this one outdoors in Stephanie's back yard.
The theme for this episode is called "Brothers of Autism". Stephanie asks Nathan and I various questions related to autism and about our lives, and she also asks Nathan's mother Julie a question or two. Some of the questions include:
1. How old are each of you?
2. Do you live with parents or alone? What are the positives and negatives?
3. Do you both have jobs? Full or part-time? What are they and what do you enjoy about them?
4. I am interested as I am sure others are if either one of you knew that you had a form of autism when and how did you find out? How did it make you feel?
5. (To Julie) when was your first awareness? What steps did you take and how did you feel?
6. What unique skills do you each have?
During this part, I perform four of my voice impersonations: Fat Albert, Audrey II the plant from "Little Shop of Horrors", Barry White, and Jim Morrison.
7. What are your plans and goals for the future?
The entire interview is very conversational and at times really entertaining. The entire interview overall is very conversational. This episode of the podcast was recorded on Sunday April 14th, 2024 and it runs 54 minutes long. Our opening and closing theme music is provided by Oleg Kyrylkovv courtesy of Pixabay.
