On this episode of the podcast, Angie Spann and Lisa Jimenez conduct and co-produce their fantastic, superb, outstanding, really fun, and very conversational interview with me in person. This is both Angie and Lisa's second time (the first in person for Lisa) on the podcast and we recorded this episode at Campbell Recreational Area in Clive.
We had a deep two way conversation on a whole bunch of topics during the interview in a free flow manner such as music (especially concerning Stevie Wonder, The Blues Brothers, and the Brass Rock/Horn Rock type of Rock/Pop music), the 40th birthday celebration that was held around my birthday time back in 2014 that Angie was at with me, karaoke and the karaoke equipment I use to have for a dozen years (until Summer 2022), how I do my social in person life with Covid continuing to rage on, a little bit about the public radio program Music from the Hearts of Space hosted by Stephen Hill and another public radio program called Blues Before Sunrise hosted by Steve Cushing, the podcast and how this has been the MOST AMAZING YEAR and BEST YEAR EVER we've ever had and are having with The Juice with Jeff, our Juice with Jeff Inc. board of directors and what happens during our annual The Juicys Awards event each December, what exciting things I would like to do "before my time comes", Angie and Lisa sing an Early Happy Birthday to me, Angie asks me several "Rapid Fire" type of questions related to candy/sweets, a discussion on a Candy/Sweets related place in Valley West Mall I went to in the past called The Candy Clubhouse, fruits and ice cream, and we wrap the interview recording session up with my performing my Jim Morrison voice impersonation (doing a The Doors take on the Toys R' Us jingle).
This episode of the podcast was recorded on Tuesday September 12, 2024 and it runs a FEATURE LENGTH 1 hour and 34 minutes long. Our opening and closing theme music is provided by Oleg Kyrylkovv courtesy of Pixabay. Funding for this podcast is provided by RandomKid, Ann Kaatz LoBue, Fran Parr, Sarah Stokes, and Renee Whisnant.
