On this episode of the podcast, Ann LoBue conducts and co-produces a fantastic and excellent interview with me thru Zoom. This is Ann's fourth time on the show.
During this episode of the show, Ann and I basically have a nice two way conversation on a variety of subjects such as: How is this summer the same or different for you than previous summers? What are some ways that you find peace and can help you when you're in a stressful situation? What are your thoughts on getting older? What are your favorite foods or things to cook, and what are your favorite desserts? Ann also talks me to talk more about how I advocate for many causes that fundamentally promote equality, equity, treating people fairly, and accepting people as they are for who they are.
Mutliple different subjects are brought up as I answer Ann's questions: Climate change, the ongoing SARS-CoV-2/Covid pandemic, how between January 1st and July 4th I've met a goal of watching all of my TV shows/movies in my DVD collection in alphabetical order from A to Z, and how things are going with this podcast during 2023.
Ann also shares her thoughts on my responses to her questions and I ask her the question of "What are you doing nowadays for work since your move back to Minnesota?".
This episode was recorded on Thursday July 13, 2023 and runs 1 hour and 12 minutes. As is the case with all of "The Juice with Jeff" podcasts, funding for this podcast is provided by Realty With Ahart and RandomKid. Enjoy!!

On this episode of the podcast, Martha Scanlan conducts and co-produces a fantastic and superb interview with me in person. This is Martha's second time on the show.
Martha and I had a two way conversation about a bunch of different topics such as society and politics, nature, local and state parks, the years I went to and was part of the Camp Ramah in Wisconsin community as well as Martha's thoughts on summer camp, the history and some tidbits about these The Juice with Jeff podcasts, and I share with Martha quite a bit of trivia about The Blues Brothers. For part of the podcast we did a nature walking tour thru portions of Riverview Park and the adjacent McHenry Park on the north side of the Des Moines area.
We have set two records with this episode: Not only is this episode of the show the THIRD lengthiest episode of The Juice with Jeff that we've ever done since these podcasts began in June 2017, but it is now officially the LONGEST IN PERSON EPISODE that we have ever done so far!! On this episode of the podcast, Tiffany Deal conducts and co-produces a fantastic and interview with me in person. This is Tiffany's first time on the podcast.
Tiffany asked me three questions during the interview:
If you could change anything about the world, what would it be?
What advice would you give your 18 year old self?
What would you like Gen Z to understand about the world and how they can make it better?
We had a significant amount of two way conversation on these three topics during the entire podcast and Sophie Homonoff also shared her thoughts at times. Plus several side topics were brought up such as rest, politics, how employees are treated in their jobs, Shabbat, and a slow cooked stew called Hamin (in Hebrew) or Cholent (in Yiddish) that is traditionally served in observant Jewish homes and communities on Saturday mornings/afternoons for Shabbat lunch. We ended the podcast with Tiffany talking about her interest in yoga and also baking bread and cookies.
This episode was recorded on Thursday June 22, 2023 in Sophie's backyard and runs 44 minutes long. Enjoy!!!

On this episode of the podcast, Char Vukovich conducts and co-produces a fantastic and superb interview with me in person. This is Char's first time on the podcast.
For this episode, Char and I did something really special that has only been done once before in the history of these podcasts: We went on a walking tour of a park near the Des Moines area!!! And this is the very first nature tour to take place in one of Iowa's State Parks!!
More specifically, Char and I recorded our podcast session at Walnut Woods State Park which is pretty close to Des Moines. We went on a walking tour of the overwhelming majority of Walnut Woods that covered most areas of the park (minus the trails).
In addition to the walking tour thru parts of Walnut Woods, Char brought up and asked me questions on memories from my Crossroads Park Elementary School days, my being autistic and how I aggressively promote Autism Acceptance and Neurodiversity, mental health, and how Judaism plays an integral part in my daily life.
We had a significant amount of two way conversation throughout the entire podcast, with nearly all of our dialogue being ad-libbed and on the fly with both of us sharing our thoughts about everything we saw and heard at Walnut Woods.
This episode was recorded on Friday June 16, 2023 and runs a feature-length 1 hour 29 minutes long. Enjoy!!!

Sue and I had lots of in depth conversation on a bunch of different topics, and Sue framed some of the questions in a "Would You Rather" format and she incorporated a "taking a trip to California" format during most of the podcast.
The topics brought up include: The 6-1/2 years that Sue and I have known each other and have been co-workers at my job, would I rather travel from Des Moines to California by train or bus, would I rather travel to Yellowstone National Park (or another national park) or a man-made attraction like the Hoover Dam, what performing artist or group I would prefer to see at the Red Rocks Amphitheater, what movies are my favorites, are there any movies besides Rain Man that have a focus on Autism, what area I would prefer seeing Ken Burns take on with any future documentaries he produces, what issues I would want to discuss with the politicians I support, do I find that as we get older people get nicer or not, about my interest in lighthouses, and have I kept in touch with the people I went to Camp Ramah in Wisconsin with.

1. How has COVID affected your daily life?

7. The last segment of our podcast together is dedicated to Katey and I talking about our longtime friendship and how we've reached the 40th Anniversary of that longtime friendship.
