On this episode of the podcast, Stephanie Angleson French conducts and co-produces an fantastic and outstanding interview with me in person. This is Stephanie's third time on the podcast.
Stephanie and I had lots of two way conversation on several topics and there are times during the recording session where I ask Stephanie to share her thoughts on the topics that are brought up.

b. Stephanie and I both talk about our dogs and other pets including a couple humorous tidbits that are dog related.
c. We talk about our favorite movies and TV shows are. When I talk about how The Blues Brothers (the original 1980 version) is one of my favorite movies, I tell Stephanie about am extended version of the film that adds 15 minutes of extra scenes that ended up not being included in the familiar version of the film that we saw in the movie theaters and on the TV networks. I share with Stephanie the dialogue from several of these extra scenes. I also share how much a HUGE FAN of movies specializing in puns, parodies, and satire including the two Airplane movies and Spaceballs.
d. Stephanie then asks me to share more about about a couple adventures I had at home with my cooking and what I'm planning to cook tonight for the upcoming Shabbat (The weekly Jewish Sabbath that occurs every week between Fridays at sunset thru Saturdays at nightfall).
e. Stephanie then asks me to share an example of an accomplishment I've achieved over the last several years, and I talk about the success of these The Juice with Jeff podcasts, about last year being the best year we've ever had with the show, and the purpose/goals of the podcast are.
f. Stephanie asks me to talk about how many J-School classmates from our days together at Drake University I've been in touch with. I elaborate on this with Stephanie and tell her about several classmates who have conducted interviews with me for the show.
g. We conclude with me performing several of my voices for Stephanie: Fat Albert, Mushmouth, Audrey II from the "Little Shop of Horrors" musical, Iowa Governor Reynolds, Former President Obama (actually the impersonation sounds more like a cross between Dr. Fauci and Obama), the current and previous voiceover announcers at our local ABC affiliate in Des Moines called Local 5 News, and Jim Morrison doing The Doors take on the Toys R Us jingle.

I talk at length about the Jazz-Rock type of rock music where 3 to 5 piece brass/woodwind sections are just as front and center as the drums/percussion, keyboards, bass, guitars, and vocals are.
c. I talk with Cara about one of my favorite movies The Blues Brothers (the original 1980 film) and I go into detail on an Extended version of this film that has around 13 or so minutes of additional scenes which weren't in the final version of the movie that played in the movie theaters and aired on various cable TV networks.
d. For about several minutes during the podcast, Cara and Sophie delve into some clean gossip about trees and yardwork.
e. Then Cara and I share a couple more favorite moments from our VHS years. The moments I share have to do with the two years I was part of the KWDM Radio family, and also a special American Citizenship Award I got right before I graduated from VHS in May 1994.

On this episode of the podcast, Inbal Mazar conducts and co-produces an excellent and fun interview with me in person. This is Inbal's very first time on the podcast.
Inbal asks me questions that have a Venn Diagram theme since both Inbal and I live in Des Moines, we both either have been or are part of the Drake University community, and we're both Jews and belong to the same synagogue. The topics that Inbal asked me questions on include:
Have you ever visited the land of Israel before? I respond by sharing with her highlights from the six weeks that I was in Israel as part of the Ramah Israel Seminar during July-August 1993
Any travel that I've done to other places either within or outside of the United States.
If you were to pick a place that you've never been to before, where would it be?
What are your thoughts on Des Moines and Iowa? And Inbal also asks me to give her recommendations for places she may not have gone to in the DSM area that I think she should check out. When I talk about the Science Center of Iowa, I share with Inbal historical tidbits on how the original location of the Science Center of Iowa is now a private secular K thru 8th grade school called Bergman Academy, and how that private school is a spinoff of a Jewish day school that used to be in Des Moines.
Inbal then asks me an unusual "Would You Rather" type of question: Would you rather fart blue smoke or sweat green liquid?
After all this, Inbal asks me to share happy memories I have from my Drake University days and then I asked Inbal to talk about what she likes about being part of the Drake community.
And we end the interview with me performing a handful of my voice impersonations: Fat Albert, Mushmouth, the "Let's Get Ready to Rumble" announcer, a very popular member of the DSM Jewish community named Abe Goldstein, and the late Jim Morrison doing a The Doors take on the "Toys R' Us" jingle.
