In this episode of "Jeff's Friends Interview Him", Suzanne Keller conducts/co-produces the audio interview with me. Suzanne and I bring up a wide variety of topics in this interview: How I'm dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic that we are dealing with, a couple of memories from my childhood, my interests in the Harry Potter series of books and in the TV show Mister Rogers Neighborhood (and Fred Rogers o.b.m. in general), how Suzanne and I enjoy the arts and how art can be a really important part of one's life, my attempt to name all of the U.S. Presidents, the subject of traveling and where we would go if we had the time and ability to travel, I perform a sample of my voice impersonations for Suzanne, and we end with some words of positivity. This interview was recorded on Thursday April 2, 2020 and it lasts 51 minutes. In this episode of the podcast, Sarah Barber McCurdy conducts and co-produces a super fun and really long audio interview with me. The interview was recorded on Monday March 30, 2020. There are so many things that Sarah and I talk about during the interview including: The type of career I wanted to do during my high school years and the type of work I do nowadays, how I'm trying to stay positive and keep my mental health in check during the COV-19 pandemic and all that goes with it, the importance of kindness and respect for everyone, my extremely strong interest in music, how I attend several musicals at our local Civic Center each year, and Sarah and I share memories from our elementary/junior high/high school days. Toward the end of the interview, I do a dozen or so of my voice impersonations for Sarah, and then Sarah gives us a taste of her fantastic singing voice with part of an aria from Georges Bizet's Carmen. This is definitely the longest interview I have done up to now with it clocking in at 1 hour and 20 minutes. In this episode of the podcast, Sashya Clark conducts and co-produces the audio interview with me. This audio interview is the first one in the "Jeff's Friends Interview Him" podcast series that is conducted using the internet, actually in this audio interview we use a combination of a phone connection and the internet. There are a whole bunch of topics that we bring up and Sashya asked me questions on, including: How I got the "Jeff's Friends Interview Him" project and podcast started, the question on what my favorite audio interviews have been, my personality and how there are ways where I am both an introvert and an extorvert, my journey into how I made the decision to try my best to be a halakhically observant Jew (being observant of the requirements of practicing all aspects of Judaism and Jewish Law to the best of my ability), the years I spent at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin and the summer I went to Israel, my thoughts on various aspects of Halakha/Jewish Law, my thoughts concerning the COVID-19 pandemic we are dealing with at this time, and I do a bunch of my voice impersonations for Sashya too. A variety of topics are brought up in this episode of the podcast: I start out by offering my thoughts on the Thai cuisine I had during my dinner with Susan that night, I offer my thoughts on the border wall between U.S. and Mexico and how I honestly disagree with most of the policies of the Trump Administration, Susan and I reminisce about our days at Valley High School, I talk about the time I spent 6 weeks in Israel during the Summer of 1993, followed by trips around the world Susan has been taking in the past and wants to take in the future along with where I want to go if I had the opportunity. On this episode of the podcast, Jennifer Burkle conducted and co-produced this interview with me on Saturday night January 20, 2018. During the interview, we talk about a couple different things: 1. How the school district I attended for elementary/junior high/high school finally allowed me to go from being in a special education self-contained classroom all day long to being mainstreamed into regular classes for most of the day starting in fall 1983, and only needing to be in that special ed room for an hour a day for help on homework and once in a while situations where certain issues occurred with me. 2. Jennifer & I reminiscing about our VHS days as well.
